Disaster Relief & Fire Assistance
When disaster strikes, SALCRA coordinates emergency funding and resource distribution to affected longhouse settlements. Critical assistance, monetary aid, and basic necessities were handed over to longhouse fire victims at:
- Rh. Ming Dugu, Betong: Financial and resource relief packages to rebuild community homes.
- Rh. Gandum, Sarikei: Essential goods, food baskets, and emergency cash vouchers.
- Long Peluan, Baram: Support logistics and disaster grants to remote interior victims.
Access Roads & Bridge Construction
Apart from major plantation roads, SALCRA constructs, restores, and repairs small access crossings and local roads to help communities stranded by washouts or heavy rains. A primary example is the reconstruction of the **Sg. Mong Bridge**, restoring vital communication and transit lines for the village.
